Counselling can be seen as a journey towards yourself, a way of learning to better understand yourself and better get to grips with the challenges of life as well as living a more authentic life. The goal is to become aware of your own resources and to learn how to use them in order to be able in the future to master the same or similar situations in a more relaxed way.

My counselling approach is eclectic, holistic and based on a client-centered therapy. This means that I look at the client (existential, humanistic) as a whole and adapt the approach to the needs of the individual client instead of treating all clients with their different issues with the same therapy approach. The intention is to use an eclectic therapeutic approach to develop a suitable therapy that is tailored to the individual situation and needs of each patient. This is particularly important since everybody needs to find his own way in respect of his individual, cultural and religious background.

My eclectic counselling approach is based on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or behavioral therapy for psychological problems that can be treated in a shorter period of time (e.g. 6-8 weeks). Depending on the individual situation, it can be that the problems require longer therapy that would then be more existential and humanistic and bonding in its orientation.
How it works

After we have arranged an appointment by phone or email you receive a confirmation by email. In our first appointment we will discuss your goals and expectations as well as your doubts and fear about therapy. This appointment should help you to become clear if I am the right therapist for you. Please note that I have a 24 hours cancelation policy, which means I have to charge the session if you cancel later than 24 hours prior to the appointment.
